All the black made his pale skin look paler, his crystal-blue eyes bluer. His hair was black and straight like his sister’s, but shorter, cut just above his jawline. His mouth was set in a thin line.

She said that they’re talking to Logan Lerman at the moment to take the role of Simon. And since shooting starts 8/15 we would have casting news pretty soon. She has also pitched the idea of Harry Shum Jr. for Magnus, because she saw pictured of him from Scream and he seemed quite good for Magnus. And she keeps pitching hot actors for the role of Alec - she wants a really hot Alec.
